Enrolling for a full-time course starting September 2012
Your easy guide to applying for a full-time
course or Apprenticeship...
1. Your application is received by our enrolment team
2. You receive an email to let you know we have your application
3. You will be invited to come along to discuss
the course with the tutor
Around eight weeks after receiving your application we will send
you a date for a course advice session designed to give you
more information and match the most appropriate course to
your career choice and current level of attainment.
4. You attend the appointment
You can bring your parents or guardians along with you if you like. For further information
or to cancel/rearrange your appointment time contact
the Enrolment Centre on 0845 300 4401.
5. You are offered a place or alternative advice
Approximately three weeks after your interview we will
write to you offering you a place on a course at the College
or offering further advice about other appropriate courses.
6. You accept your place by sending back your acceptance form as soon as possible
7. We confirm your acceptance
8. You will be sent a letter at the beginning of August inviting you to an induction
Later in the year you will be invited to college to meet your
tutors and fellow students. This induction usually takes place
in early September just before your course starts.
9. Third week of August - confirm your place
You will be sent details of how to do this during the middle
of August. If you do not confirm your place,
we will offer it to another student.
