If so, science may be the ideal programme for you, as this is a branch of knowledge that requires ‘systematic study and method in dealing with substances, animal and vegetable life and natural laws’. Its study can lead to real career prospects in a number of professions.
Biochemist, entomologist, forensic scientist, geneticist and even inventor are all career roles that require a good grounding in science, and the College is proud of the support and facilities it can offer students in this subject.
Teaching at the College is excellent with a real emphasis on practical, work-related activities.
You can progress from the Science programme directly to employment or on to university.
Whichever route you choose, you’ll benefit from exploring and debating a range of significant scientific theories.
Many of the Science programme’s projects involve fieldwork and you’ll have the opportunity of spending up to five days on a residential course.
