Are you experiencing difficulty in finding employment? Do you need to learn new skills? Would a qualification help you find the right job? Are you aged 16-18? If you need extra support in achieving a qualification to gain employment, Northampton College offers you a real way forward with our e2e programme.

 


Entry to Employment (e2e) is a flexible training programme, designed to help you focus on your future and overcome any barriers. It’s right for you if you’re aged 16-18, and are ready for the world of work, but cannot find suitable employment, education or an Apprenticeship programme. The e2e programme will help you develop motivation, confidence and personal effectiveness, as well as Basic and Key/ Functional Skills. It also offers you the opportunity to gain vocational knowledge, skills and understanding. All learners on the e2e programme are entitled to financial support through EMA funding.

 

Here’s a sample of what e2e could offer you:

  • Basic Literacy & Numeracy
  • Key/Functional Skills at Level 1 or 2
  • Confidence building activities
  • Help with CV production, career guidance, job search,
  • interview techniques and employability advice
  • Level 1 or units of Level 2 qualifications
  • Opportunities for work experience placements
  • Learner Enrichment Programme.

Step 1

Step 2
We’ll assess your strengths, areas for improvement and your individual training needs.

 


Step 3
We’ll organise a programme for you that delivers exactly the support and training you need to progress to employment or higher level qualifications, and really improves your career prospects.

 

Step 4
You’ll need to attend college for a minimum of 16 hours each week.
