Construction and the Built Environment

electrical installation maintenance1

The construction industry offers huge scope for professional, technical and practical careers in a range of specialist areas. Construction companies can be large house-builders or smaller contractors that supply electrics, lighting, services, power, aircon, plumbing, heating and gas. As well as building and construction projects, there is plenty of work in the repair and maintenance of existing structures.

As well as skilled trades learned through Apprenticeships or full time Study Programmes, you can access pathways to higher level qualifications that may lead to careers in civil engineering and built environment project management. Our courses enable you to develop a combination of different skills so that you can equip yourself to be flexible in today’s dynamic employment market.
