Entry Requirements

Points equivalent to one A Level grade E or above, pass at National Diploma or AVCE. In
addition GCSE English grade C is required.

Course Content

A combination of practical and theory-based assignments covering a range of areas including writing and interviewing for TV, radio and print, law for journalists, page
design and layout, feature production, magazine production and programming, subediting
and news / documentary production.
Students work with professional journalists to write and produce newspapers, magazines, radio and television news broadcasts and a variety of other radio
programmes.

Next Step

You will have the opportunity to progress to the second or third year of appropriate degree study at the University of Northampton and other selected universities, or into employment or training courses within the Media Industry.
