Performing Arts – AS / A2 Level
Entry Requirements
Entry onto the programme requires a minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent, including English (Language) or Mathematics and any subject that you have studied at GCSE Level and wish to continue to A Level. Entry for some subjects may require a particular GCSE grade C or above
Course Content
This exciting qualification allows anyone interested in theatre to explore all creative and practical areas of the profession. This Applied A Level has no examination and is assessed entirely through coursework and performances.
Learners following this programme work in conjunction with a
related National Award/Certificate and can explore lighting, sound, set and costume design, music, publicity, puppetry and masks, as well as simply performing.
Assignments are all based around
performances of differing types and
styles, and include studio, theatre and touring productions.
