haelth and socialA career in one of the caring professions can be one of the most rewarding jobs around, giving you the chance to build long-lasting relationships and really make a difference to peoples’ lives.

With a range of health rooms, computer suites and craft areas you will have access to all the resources you need to gain the skills needed to become a carer.

The department offers a range of full-time courses for those who wishing to work with the elderly or in one of the health professions, for example as a nurse, podiatrist, dietician or physiotherapist. Many students will spend at least one day a week in a care setting as an integral part of their course.
