The role of an IQA is to ensure the quality of the assessment process. Your precise requirements should be discussed.

The unit for this course is:

Unit 1 - Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment.

This unit ensures that the student has the necessary knowledge and understanding required for internal quality assurance of assessment.

Delivered via an interactive workshop (if appropriate) and on-going one to one assessment using a electronic portfolio with a qualified Northampton College Assessor.

How is the course assessed?

Students will complete a portfolio of evidence.

Who is this course for?

A knowledge-only Award for those who are starting their journey as an internal quality assurance practitioners or for those who need to know about internal quality assurance but who are not carrying out quality assurance themselves. This might be people such as experienced assessors or centre managers, HR or quality assurance personnel.
