Booth Lane is changing...
Phase One of our impressive Booth Lane new build project is now complete.
The new 22,000 square metre building which corners St Gregory’s Road and Booth Lane opened for learning in April 2011 and provides the latest sustainable, energy efficient technology and facilities.
Phase One includes:
- Circular-shaped library incorporating study areas, computer suites and latest resources
- Professional theatre space
- Underground sound recording booths with latest professional recording equipment
- Unique automotive spray booths
- Dance studios with sprung flooring
- New photographic laboratories
- High ceiling restaurant
- Impressive circular-shaped cafeteria
- Helical wind turbine
- Photovoltaic solar panels
- Green sedum roofing
- Biomass boilers
What's next?
The second and final phase of building work at Booth Lane has now begun and will be completed in July 2012 with full access later that year.
