Aspiring journalist Nicholas Bieber, 18 was inspired by the global economic crisis and changes to university fees to write a piece on the positives of studying at Northampton College, in particular the exciting new building at Booth Lane.
Nicholas said, ‘I feel that the youngsters of this society are being put off the thought of further education. However, I was hoping that by using my journalism skills, I could give people a positive and brighter outlook by showing them it isn't as tough as it seems to be. Northampton College is a good place to be and can, if anything, further you into pursuing those dreams'.
Nicholas hopes to work his way up on a national newspaper and eventually become a successful radio presenter.
He added, ‘I've learnt a lot during my Media Production course, but all in all what I've mostly learnt is how the media industry works. I am even more prepared to go into this career and also gaining more confidence in my work and my ability to do well.’
