Learn a new skill for life at the Daventry Fun Day

Northampton College at Daventry will be hosting a whole day of learning activities and taster sessions for local residents at the Daventry Fun Day, Saturday 26th May.

Now in its fourth year this event looks set to be one of the biggest and best yet offering a great day out for all the family.

In addition to a children’s fun fair and catering stands, visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in a range of taster sessions from arts and crafts and dog agility to fitness classes and first aid demonstrations.

Performances from local musicians and dance schools will be providing entertainment throughout the day and cream teas will also be served in the restaurant.

One of the key aims of this event is for local people to get involved and have fun whilst gaining the opportunity to learn a new skill they may otherwise not have had the time or chance to do.

So whether it’s a zumba lesson or dog agility class you are interested in come along on the day and find out how you could win a Wii console with Heart FM.

We are still looking for a variety of performers and exhibitors to take part in the day so if you have a skill you can teach or are a budding performer please do get in touch and let us know.
