Our Student Services Team offers information advice and guidance to students who need help with their study options, progression routes or career choice. Student Services has held the Career Mark award since 2001.

 

 

This award is the quality mark for the provision of high quality career advice and guidance and education.

 

Student Services, Additional Support, the Library and Student Data Services also hold the prestigious Matrix award which recognise the high quality information advice and guidance provided to students.

 

Our Student Services Centres provide students with access to a range of resources and information including:

  • Drop-in help and support
  • Support with tutorials
  • Individual advice and guidance
  • Group work and workshops on a range of career, higher education and training topics
  • Resources for tutors covering a wide range of careers issues
  • Organised CEG activities, eg. Higher Education days & enrichment activities
  • Support with job and HE applications and interviews
  • Careers Library - open access to the careers library with availability of informative and advisory electronic programs.
