As things currently stand, we’re expecting our new term to start in September. Of course, we’re being guided by the Government’s advice so this may change over the next few months.
We are partially open for small groups of students:
PLEASE NOTE: Staff and students living in Leicester City, or the surrounding areas affected by the recent local lockdown, are not to come into college until further notice and should continue to work from home.

Current arrangements to ensure the safety of everyone
The College has prepared a full risk assessment, which you can view here, and implemented associated measures to ensure we comply with government guidelines.
Whilst we have taken significant steps to adapt how we work, we will be reminding everyone who enters our campus of the role we all have in safeguarding the health of our staff, students and visitors when in college. To comply with this, everyone will be asked to:
So that everyone is familiar with how things will look in September, progressing students will be invited to attend an orientation session during the summer. These will take place in small groups from 6 July – 14 August and will last approximately 1.5 hrs.
Similarly, new students will be invited in during w/c 24 August 2020 and w/c 31 August 2020 to complete enrolments and receive ID badges.
Apart from these orientation sessions, the College will remain closed during July and August.
We will continue to monitor the latest advice from the Government and Public Health England and will alert all staff, students and parents of any changes at the earliest opportunity. Arrangements and updates will be communicated by text and email.
This is an unprecedented situation and one that is changing rapidly. The Northampton College community is strong and, by working closely together, we will make sure any disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.
We would like to thank you for your support in helping us to safeguard the good health of our college community, and appreciate your continued support during this time.
