Higher Education applicants
As you will be aware, there has been massive disruption to students taking A Levels and completing BTEC qualifications this summer as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the exams regulator Ofqual is rapidly developing a fair way to issue grades which should provide reassurance to students, particularly those planning to progress to higher education. For this reason, all universities and higher education providers have been told to stop making unconditional offers of places on higher education programmes until further notice, in order to enable Ofqual to complete this work and ensure that all applicants can be treated fairly and equally and make their decisions based on the best information.
If you have recently applied for an HNC or HND at Northampton College and you have not received your offer yet, please do not worry. We will be writing to you to make you an offer on your chosen course as soon as we are able to do so.
