You can also apply online.

Application process

We will invite you in for an interview where you will hear more about what's involved with studying at the College. The interview will give you the chance to meet our tutors and find out more about your course. We will aim to offer you a place on the day of your interview and we ask you to accept the offer as soon as you can so we know when you've made a decision to join us.

When you enrol, you will become a fully-registered student of the College. Enrolment takes place just before you start your course. At this stage, you will need to provide proof of identification and of your qualifications. You will receive a Learning Agreement when you enrol that contains details of the course you have joined.

Course fees

There may be something to pay depending on your age, the type of course you are joining and your personal circumstances. You may need to pay for special materials, protective clothing, kits or visits whatever your age or circumstances. We will tell you what you will need to pay before you enrol. To find out more go to the cost of coming to college.

Student ID card

Your ID card will be issued once you have signed your Learning Agreement and paid any fees. You must carry this card at all times on college premises and show it when requested by a member of staff.

International students

We are pleased to welcome international students to Northampton College. Northampton and Daventry are centrally located, just one hour and fifteen minutes from London, and two hours from the international airports of Heathrow and Gatwick.

We offer a wide range of two year programmes leading to Level 3 qualifications. You must study at Level 3 or above to be eligible under UK Border Agency (UKBA) requirements. Our trained advisors can support you to make an application for a student visa as we are rated as a Tier 4 Sponsor by the UKBA. This means that Northampton College is recognised by the UKBA for processing applications from international students, giving you the best chance of success with your visa application. For more information on studying in the UK please visit www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk

Before you can join Northampton College, you must first take an English test in your own country. Visit www.ielts.org to find your nearest testing centre. Course fees for international students will be £6,500 plus examination, registration and equipment costs for the academic year 2015/16. Please be aware that you will be fully responsible for your own accommodation and domestic arrangements whilst taking part in a college programme. You will be given advice where appropriate but the College cannot make these arrangements on behalf of any student.

You will find more advice on studying in the UK at www.ukcisa.org.uk and www.monetos.co.uk. If you would like to contact us about an application, or for some initial advice, please call (00 44) 1604 734567 from overseas, or 01604 734567 from the UK.
