Your Northampton College qualification can open the door to a wide range of university courses and higher education opportunities.
Every year, our students progress to universities across the UK, and we work with universities and higher education providers to help you explore your options, understand entry requirements and make the right choice for your future.
A clearer route to the University of Northampton
We also have a progression agreement with the University of Northampton, giving Northampton College students a clearer pathway into a range of degree programmes.
Our qualifications, including BTECs, T Levels, V Levels and HNDs, are mapped against relevant University of Northampton degrees. This means you can see how your course at Northampton College could lead to further study locally and what grades you will need to achieve.
What does this mean for you?
If you're studying an eligible course and achieve the required grades, you won't need to apply to the University of Northampton through UCAS. Instead, you'll have a clear progression route from Northampton College to a relevant degree programme. This also means you won’t have to pay the UCAS registration fee of £34.50.
You can still choose to apply through UCAS if you want to explore other universities and keep your options open.
The agreement makes progressing to university simpler and more straightforward, while giving you the freedom to choose the route that's right for you.
