At Northampton College, our students are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring you receive an outstanding education that enables you to succeed. 

Through exceptional courses, enhanced by highly individualised support, we’ll help you develop new skills, expand your knowledge and acquire the personal and employability skills you need to succeed confidently in your next step. If you choose Northampton College, you’ll be accessing some of the best education in the region. Our college is now ranked fifth in the country for 16 to 18 education, first for English for speakers of other languages and our apprentices achieve much better than the national average.  

Join us and you’ll study a curriculum, shaped for and with local experts, that will equip you to succeed in work and life and make a positive contribution to our region.  The vast majority of our students go on to further learning, work and other positive destinations, so we have a proven track record of success.

We have a great selection of courses for 16-18 year olds. Our vocational and technical courses include BTECs, T Levels and a range of courses to suit your interests and ambitions. They are an excellent way to learn interesting and valuable skills and knowledge that equip you to thrive in work and higher education. We also offer a range of A Levels through NC6, so come and have a look if you think academic study is your chosen path to university or work.  

If you're ready to get into work but want to take your skills further, an apprenticeship might be the perfect fit for you. We offer a variety of options across a wide range of subject areas - take a look and find what suits you best!

For adults, we offer a range of specialist courses to meet your needs, whether these be work-related or more about improving your English, maths, digital or other skills.  And again, learning through an apprenticeship while at work is a great option for you to take the next step on your career ladder.

Working in partnership

Key to the success of the College has been ­­­the strong partnerships formed with businesses, educational establishments, civic and other partners, ensuring they are at the heart of post-16 skills.

We are proud of our relationships with external stakeholders such as the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP), with whom we work to engage with the very latest skills strategies and address these as part of our curriculum map.

The College provides a service for local employers, responding to the needs of businesses and helping them to access government funding to provide Apprenticeships.
