T Levels are Level 3 qualifications designed to give you a head start towards the future you want.
These two-year programmes follow on from GCSEs, and on completion, are equivalent to three A Levels.
T Levels bring classroom learning and industry placements together on a course designed with employers and businesses in mind. Your time will be split between classroom-based theory lessons and a relevant work placement - providing you with the skills and knowledge that employers are looking for.
Your T Level will help you to step straight into your chosen career, an apprenticeship or a degree.
What is an Industry Placement?
Industry Placements provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to enter employment or progress onto further training and apprenticeships.
Throughout your Industry Placement, you will gain confidence, enhance your CV and have the opportunity to try out your chosen career. You will find yourself with better career prospects, improved employability skills and a competitive edge when applying for further study, potential jobs or an apprenticeship.
Industry Placements last for 315 hours across 45 days during the academic year. You will be with your placement provider for two days per week.*
