Skills Bootcamp - ESOL for Warehousing

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving you the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and an offer of an interview with an employer upon completion.

If you?re looking to start a career in Logistics, this course gives you the practical skills and confidence to take your first step. You?ll learn about the key employability skills needed in the logistics? industry including communication and teamwork. Daily support sessions in English Language will also be provided to teach you the key vocabulary needed to develop key employability and Logistics? skills.

This course suits ambitious individuals who want a hands-on route into work, enjoy practical learning, and are ready to build a future in one of Northamptonshire?s biggest growth sectors. You?ll also develop transferable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and reliability.

This course is delivered during the day at our Lower Mounts campus in Northampton, running over four weeks from Monday to Thursday, with start and end times varying.

If you?re aged 19 or over and have the right to study in England, you?re likely to be eligible for this Skills Bootcamp.

Throughout the course, you?ll create a portfolio of evidence that showcases your skills and what you have learned, giving you something to share with potential employers.

Please bring a pen, pencil and notebook with you on the first day!

On completion, you could progress into roles within logistics and warehousing or move on to further study within Logistics at a higher level.

You?ll also be offered an interview with an employer who has current job opportunities and may be able to offer you a role on completion of the programme.
