The 4 Year Apprenticeship programme is structured in partnership with the college and is organised as follows:
Year One:
- Gaining skills in understanding & reading engineering drawings, fitting, hand tools/techniques, machining, measuring equipment
Year Two:
- Specific training in core areas to develop skills such as manual machining, C N C machining, work holding, inspection
Year Three:
- Developing your workshop skills using more focused techniques
Year Four:
- Working towards being a skilled operator and improving competence in a chosen speciality
