A new Graduate Recruitment Scheme has been developed by Northampton College in partnership with Northamptonshire's Job Centre Plus in response to the numbers of graduates across the county who are finding it increasing hard to secure jobs after their degrees.
The scheme, which began in September this year aims to support recent graduates with their search for employment by helping them design their own individual sales campaign that is relevant to their target marketplace. Candidates on the course benefit from job searching techniques and tips, financial advice and workshops delivered by large, well-known local and national employers. At the end of the course they also receive a Level 2 qualification in Employability.
