Work is now officially underway on a pioneering £13million College campus in Daventry, giving up to 700 students the chance to learn the new skills they need to find a job close to home.

pat turf cutting newPrincipal of Northampton College, Pat Brennan-Barrett, was on hand to formally put the first spade in the ground during a ceremony to celebrate the start of works at the Badby Road site.

The plans were given the green light following the College's successful bid to the South East Midlands Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) for £6.5million of funding from the Local Growth Fund for a completely new centre in the town that will offer vocational training for young people and adults.
