A career in the media can put you at the centre of the stories everyone is talking about, whether it's capturing dramatic footage for television, writing for a newspaper or a website or taking the images which tell the story.

In this fast-paced industry it's more important than ever before to understand and adapt to the latest technology. You’ll need to be able to think on your feet, clipping content for social and writing up your notes to shape your report.

Our courses will help you develop all the technical skills you need to begin a career in the media, using industry standard computer equipment and software.

Our range of courses will give you the chance to visit television studios, radio stations, newsrooms and cinemas to give you a broad knowledge and understanding of how the industry operates. There'll also be talks from visiting speakers and the possibility of work placements.
