Northamptonshire employers have been invited to sign up to become mentors to the next generation of business brains currently studying at Northampton College.

The College is keen to develop partnerships with leading local businesses as part of a drive to match students with potential employers, giving them first-hand experience in the world of work away from the classroom.

The mentor programme, launched alongside the College's ground-breaking Logistics Academy, will give businesses the chance to work closely with students and guide them through taking their first steps onto the career ladder.

James Whybrow, Assistant Principal at Northampton College, said: Northamptonshire is home to some fantastic businesses across a wide range of sectors, and we would love to work closely with these businesses to give our students an insight into what it takes to becomes a success in the world of work.
