adults for web 2

You may not have been inside a classroom for years, but you won't be alone if you sign up for a course with us.

We offer high-quality English, maths and IT courses for adults with class times designed to fit around your life and work.

Maths and English

We have courses for all levels of English and maths; from Entry numeracy and literacy, right up to GCSE. These are all free of charge to UK residents.

We deliver lessons to small groups of adult learners, many of whom had poor experiences of education growing up. You will find the learning environment in our classes very different from those of school days. Each year exceptional numbers of adults (over 90%) pass their exams which mean they can secure skilled jobs or progress onto higher levels of study.

IT and Digital Skills

We deliver a large range of IT courses for adults at every level to support work-readiness or study at university-level.

Our IT short courses start from the very basics, such as accessing the internet and sending an email; but continue through to longer level 1 and 2 courses to improve skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

These courses can be studied intensively if you need to upskill rapidly.

Government funding rules that came into place September 2020 mean many learners are able to study at level 1 and below free of charge. In addition, Level 2 courses are also often free of charge to learners, depending on income - please call 0300 123 2344 for more information.

How do I apply?

If you are interested in our courses, you will need to book an advice appointment so we can assess your current skill level and requirements.

We take in to account your current knowledge of IT, what you would like to
achieve and your level of ability in spoken and written English.

To book an appointment, please call 0300 123 2344.

What our learners say

Our learners frequently tell us how much they enjoy their classes, how their lessons are stimulating and interesting and about how pleased they feel having given education another go.
