We'd love YOU to get involved. If there's a topic you'd like to blog about just email
Hi, I’m Lauren Glover and I perform in a band called LMK. I write my own songs, but I’ve only ever performed one song in front of an actual crowd. I’m also registered blind – which makes things tricky but even more rewarding.
Welcome to my blog post on the lead up to our fabulous festive gig at Northampton College, which is taking place in the Drama Theatre at Booth Lane from 7pm on December 18th.
I’ve got a question for you and I’d like you to answer it honestly. What is your first reaction if someone gives you feedback that says “I didn’t like that” or “that could be improved by...”?
Come on now, be honest! Hurt? Frustrated? Defensive? Maybe even angry? All perfectly natural responses, all of which I’m guilty of from time to time.
This time of year is awards season. From glitzy red carpet affairs in a swanky London theatre to a bit of fun at end-of-year office parties, it’s a time to celebrate success and look back on the hard work undertaken throughout the year.
Here at Northampton College it’s no different. Our annual awards ceremony is always a highlight of the curriculum calendar and this year was no exception.
