So, how are we all coping with Lockdown 2.0? The slight relaxation of official Government guidelines has given many of us a slight degree of added flexibility in our daily lives and, although we're still a long way away from normality, for some it means a gradual return to the workplace.
The first glimmer of light is appearing at the end of a very long tunnel. The roadmap for lifting the restrictions imposed on us during lockdown looks set to be revealed this Sunday by the Prime Minister, paving the way for a restoration of some semblance of normality, maybe not immediately, but soon.
As a college, developing a strategy for dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak involves a number of different ‘phases'. First of all, we had to plan for what might happen in various different scenarios, then we had to devise a way of handling what was actually happening. The way we live may never be quite the same again and, while that may seem daunting, it also represents an opportunity for savvy students to get ahead of the game and put themselves in the best possible position to take advantage when we get back to a semblance of normality.
So here we are. Lockdown 2.0.
